Victoria Kuzma
I am a fully trained artist obsessed with the ideals of beauty and form that come down to us from the ages and many cultures. In 2004 after graduating from Queen’s, I followed my lifelong dream of becoming a Vancouver hairstylist.
When I got the call back from ECHO telling me I was hired, it was the greatest day of my career. Since then, I have become more and more grateful for the opportunity they gave me, and I hope I’m making them proud! They trained me to offer you VIP services and fostered in me a creative passion that is second to none. I started out as an apprentice and colour technician, and worked my way up to a full-fledged stylist, assisting with weddings and even working as a hair model for print. After moving to Vancouver I quickly learned that mobile hairstyling is much more fun than being in a salon…I love what I do and my clients know it!
With the understanding that hair is a branch of the fashion industry, I regularly update my product, colour and cutting knowledge to offer you the most current trends and tricks of the trade. Schwarzkopf is my favourite company and I am a certified Schwarzkopf Master Colourist.
My favourite aspect of my daily work is doing makeovers, from complete haircolour redesign to haircut overhauls. I enjoy helping clients to reclaim their natural grey hair, and I have the patience for dramatic transitions from deep brunette to brilliant blonde. I do my very best work with curly clients; I know a special haircut that actually enhances curl while inhibiting frizz.
I also offer complete wedding packages for Western, Indian and Asian brides. The most inspiring part of working with a bride is seeing the whole look come together on her Big Day. Every woman has her own unique loveliness, and it is my job as part of her beauty team – hair, makeup and wardrobe – to bring out the very best in every bride.
